EURIDICHE L-SX

The Euridiche L-SX is the culmination of years of uncompromising research and development, created to capture the true essence of music. Only an open-type electrostatic headphone could realize this vision. With the largest membrane surface ever used in headphones—capable of reproducing the deepest frequencies, extraordinary in electrostatic design—enhanced by Soltanus Acoustics’ signature innovations, the L-SX delivers the grandeur of a concert hall with the intimacy and refinement of a private performance.

Building upon the legacy of the Euridiche S, the L-SX advances both sensitivity and dynamic headroom, while preserving its unmistakable warmth and profound sub-bass extension—qualities exceptionally rare in electrostatic technology. Its linear frequency response stretches effortlessly from the subsonic depths to the farthest reaches of the ultrasonic spectrum, paired with an exceptional impulse response that reveals micro-dynamics and transient detail with breathtaking immediacy.

The soundstage is equally remarkable: wide, natural, and immersive. Achieved through its oversized diaphragm, uniquely sectioned stator design, and generously dimensioned angled ear pads, the L-SX maintains perfect acoustic geometry and directionality. The result is a holographic spatial presentation—perceived not merely as sound, but as a lifelike three-dimensional performance that places the listener closer than ever to the music itself.

Design Innovations

The Euridiche L-SX  feature a unique sectioned two-way stator design, offering several refined advantages:

  • A discreet built-in switch allows you to adjust tonality in three subtle steps above 1 kHz, tailored to your preference, the recording, and your system.
  • This configuration creates a true three-dimensional sound field, as high-frequency content is projected naturally from the front of the membrane toward your ears, rather than from the center as in conventional headphones.
  • The stators employ a round cross-section wires in a sophisticated matrix design, minimizing air turbulence and eliminating the harshness typical of perforated stators.
  • With carefully angled ear pads, the stator matrices direct the sound backward toward your ears, shaping a soundstage that feels like a live orchestra or a pair of finely tuned loudspeakers in your listening room.

For lasting durability, the ultra-thin membrane capsule— the only component that may age over decades—has been designed for effortless replacement by the owner, without soldering, using only a few screws. This principle ensures true lifetime value.

Finally, standard mini-XLR connectors are integrated for convenient cable changes and practical storage, combining elegance with functionality.

Refined Bass Architecture

The Euridiche L-SX and Euridiche D-SX feature a built-in bass reflex port within the ear pads, ensuring a subsonic resonant frequency of the membrane—capable of reproducing the lowest audio octave without the roll-off so common in electrostatic designs.

In this way, the low-frequency response reaches the depth and authority of the very finest planar headphones, yet with the delicacy and precision unique to electrostatics.

For a more personalized balance, the reflex tubes can be tuned by inserting a foam insert, allowing you to refine the bass content to your preference.

Manufacturing

Our philosophy in manufacturing is guided by a deep respect for proven principles and noble materials, seamlessly united with the most advanced scientific methods.

From hand-sewn genuine Italian leather, to precision laser cutting, to the latest 3D-printing technologies—every component is crafted with care and brought together by meticulous hand assembly.

The result is not only engineering perfection, but an object of timeless artistry.

The Advantages of 3D Printing Technology

The latest 3D printing technology allows us to achieve unmatched precision, consistency, and durability—perfectly suited for high-quality, limited production.

It is also an invaluable tool in our ongoing research and development, enabling the refinement of both new creations and existing designs.

This technology makes possible the crafting of extremely lightweight yet remarkably strong components, often hollowed within for even greater comfort during extended listening sessions.

Such intricate forms cannot be realized through traditional manufacturing methods, making 3D printing an essential part of our pursuit of perfection.

3D printing technology is now increasingly embraced in aviation, space exploration, and other advanced industries—where the pursuit of minimal weight must be seamlessly combined with uncompromising strength and durability.

Driver Unit MK II

The Driver Unit MK II was created to deliver the full emotional intensity of music with uncompromising technical precision, while retaining the compact form of its predecessor, the MK I.

At its heart are hand-wound output audio transformers, engineered with wide bandwidth and exceptional quality. They maintain high impedance across the entire audio spectrum, ensuring effortless drivability with a wide range of amplifiers, while preserving voltage gain and sonic purity even beyond the audible range. Oversized iron cores prevent saturation at subsonic frequencies up to 2,000 Vpp, while minimizing winding capacitance for flawless performance.
